Some Considerations to Bear in Mind before Buying a Printer for macOS Monterey

However, before you go for any printer, there are some considerations you need to apply to avoid buying mediocre ones. This will help you know the precise one for your Mac. Fortunately, we’ve narrowed down the stress of searching for the printer that’ll give you longer quality service.

Duplex Printing

Having a duplex printer enables you to comfortably print on both sides of a paper fed into it. This feature is very important for bulk projects as it saves time and paper. Also, this saves you the energy of manually flipping the paper as they have automatic duplexing. Duplex machines allow the printer to print on one side, pull the page over, and print on the other side. This is one of the many features to consider when going to buy the best printer for macOS Monterey in 2022.

Print Speed

Printing speed is necessary to be considered especially for those who print a large volume of papers. If you own a large organization or you’re into the printing business, then you need a printer with high printing speed to get things done faster for you. However, in the case of personal use where printing speed is not necessary, you can overlook this feature. You can know the speed of your printer by checking the manufacturer’s speed rating. However, you should note that the printing speed reduces when printing colored documents, photos, or cards.

Paper Size

What’s the limited paper size you can print on the printer? This is very important to know as it determines the size of paper to print out. Why do all printers basically allow 8.5 x 11-inch paper? Cards, envelopes, passports, etc have different sizes, you need to get a printer that’s versatile to avoid spending more on another printer.

Meanwhile, apart from the tray’s versatility, you should consider the amount of paper the tray can contain or you risk adding paper when on bulky printouts. Fortunately, most of the best macOS Monterey printers can accept up to 250 sheets on a single tray.

Wireless Printers

Most often, some Mac users prefer to have a wireless printer because of how convenient they’re. These printers give you the option of printing from anywhere so far there’s a connection. For Apple devices, you can connect wirelessly via Airprint, or Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for other software users. However, getting one for a macOS Monterey computer is pretty hard because of its high-quality output. Fortunately, we’ve listed some of the best wireless printers that are compatible with macOS Monterey computers.

Colour Printing

Do you need a Mac printer that can be used to print out photos or colored papers? Then you need some of these color printers which are listed below. Fortunately, you can buy these printers for personal use as they’re portable and convenient enough to be in your home office. I want to know which laser printer either monochrome or colour with print scan and copy options would be suitable for home use. I use MacBook Air with the latest Monterey IOS. The model should be available in India. Please give at least 10 best options

  3. PJ Miceli says

SO, SO, SO sorry that I upgraded to Monterey. Outstanding Brother MFC printer no longer has printer drivers for Monterey, and same with HP MFP. Tech support simply says Apply did not verify compatibility prior to release; Apple throws responsibility onto Brother & HP. Read comments from users for many HP printers on Amazon, Best Buy & other sites. Wish I could uninstall Monterey and return to Big Sur, where everything worked beautifully. Both of these printers were already expensive; to spend the money above is ridiculous. DO NOT upgrade/install Monterey.
