    As I mentioned we will install MacOS Mojave on Hackintosh using Clover EFI Bootloader, So, it will be somehow difficult and you might get confused but don’t worry I will guide you step by step with good explanation.

    Required Files:

    Step 1: Download MacOS Mojave dmg file

    Of course to install MacOS Mojave you need to download Mojave dmg file then you can install it on your PC. downloading MacOS Mojave has two way, first, if you are Mac user then you can download it directly from App Store with your developer account if you are using Windows operating system then you don’t have developer account, therefore, download MacOS Mojave dmg file from above link.

    Step 2: Create a Bootable USB for MacOS Mojave

    Well, to install MacOS Mojave whether on Hackintosh or Virtual Machine, firstly, you will need to download MacOS Mojave image file which I mentioned above, therefore, download MacOS Mojave dmg file. After you downloaded then you have to create a bootable USB for MacOS Mojave. creating MacOS Mojave bootable USB is good for having a clean installation on PC although you can install without USB if you go with it then you will have the best MacOS Mojave installation.

    #1: To create a bootable USB for MacOS Mojave you will need to have 16GB USB flash drive, therefore, insert your USB drive to your computer.

    #2: Then, use Command key + Space for the spotlight and search Disk Utility and press Enter key.

    #3: Now, select your USB drive from the left side and click on Erase from the top menu. Afterward, follow this:

    1. Give a proper Name for USB Partition.
    2. Select Mac OS Extended (Journaled) for Format.
    3. And select GUID Partition Map for Scheme.

    #4: Once you are done then click on Erase button and wait for a while then click on Done and close Disk Utility page.

    #5: Open the Spotlight and search for Terminal, after that, copy and paste the below code to terminal and press Enter key. afterward, it will ask you to type your password and press enter key. While you press the Enter key then you will be asked to Enter Y key for confirmation, therefore, Press Y and wait for a while and close Terminal.

    sudo /Applications/install\ macOS\ 10.15\ Beta.app/Contents/Resources/createomstallmedia --Volume /Volumes/USB

    Step 3: Run Clover Configurator

    1. To run Clover Configurator, you need to download it on your PC.
    2. Now, open spotlight and search Clover Configurator and press Enter.
    3. Then, select the Mount EFI option from the left side.
    4. Afterward, select the EFI on install MacOS Mojave Beta and click on Mount Partition.
    5. Type your User password.
    6. While you Mounted EFI Partition then an EFI folder will be created to your desktop screen automatically.
    7. Therefore, open EFI external folder.
    8. You have to copy the EFI file into an external folder.
    9. After you copied then Eject the external EFI folder. 
    10. You are done with this step and you have created EFI file of MacOS Mojave in a USB drive and you are ready to install MacOS Mojave on Hackintosh.

    Step 4: Create Post-Install USB Drive

    Now insert 4GB USB flash drive for creating post-installation and click on Go > Utilities and open Disk Utility. After that, follow the below steps.

    • In Disk Utility, select your USB drive from the left side of the window and click on the Erase button from the top menu.
    • Then, give a Name like (Post-Install), select Mac OS Extended (Journaled) for Format and select GUID Partition Map for Scheme.
    • After that, click on Erase button and wait for a while and click on Done then close disk utility page.
    • While the Post-install partition is done then copy and paste all the fixes drivers into Post-Install USB drive, after that, Eject the USB drive folder.

    So, now the USB drive is ready to boot and we have copied all the files to Post-Install USB drive and the USB is ready to install macOS Mojave on Hackintosh but before going to install MacOS Mojave you have to configure BIOS setting.

    Step 5: Configure BIOS Setting

    #1: Now, restart your PC and press Delete button to bring the BIOS setting.

    #2: Go to Save and Edit menu tab and select Load Optimized Defaults and press Enter key. after that select yes option. Once again click on Save and Edit set up on the same page and click Yes,  afterward, your computer will restart automatically.

    #3: Now, press Delete key to bring BIOS settings.

    #4: Go to BIOS tab and Disabled fast boot option. then select 2x for Mouse Speed, then select Other OS for Windows 8/10 features, then select Legacy for Storage Boot option control, and select UEFI for other PC1 devices.

    #5: Then, go to Peripherals tab and select PCI 1 Slot for Initial Display Output, then Disabled Intel platform trust technology (PTT).

    #6: On the same page select USB Configuration then Enabled XHCI Hand-Off.

    #7: Come back and select SATA And RST Configuration, then make sure you have selected AHCI for SATA Mode Selection.

    #8: Now go to Chipset tab and Disabled VT-d.

    #9: At last go to Save and Exit tab and click on Save and Exit setup and click on yes button.

    So, you have configured BIOS setting successfully, and you are ready to install MacOS Mojave on Hackintosh PC.

    Step 6: Install MacOS Mojave on PC Macintosh HD

    Now everything is done and you have configured BIOS setting, therefore, now it is time to install MacOS Mojave from USB flash drive. so, insert the USB drive and restart your computer, after that, go to Boot Menu and select your USB to install MacOS Mojave. Then follow the below steps.

    • #1: On welcome page select Option and type -v nv_disabled=1_ for Boot Args and press enter key.
    • #2: Now, Boot MacOS install from install MacOS Mojave, therefore, click on Apple Logo and press enter.
    • #3: Bypass black and white text and wait for a while.
    • #4: Here, select your language and continue.
    • #5: Then, select Disk Utility and continue.
    • #6: Now, go to View menu tab and click on Show all devices.
    • #7: Afterward, select the USB that you want to boot MacOS Catalina and click on Erase option from the top menu. then give a Name to the USB, select APFS for Format, and select GUID Partition Map for Scheme and click on Erase button and wait to complete the partition and click on Done. at last close the disk utility folder.
    • #8: Now, select Install MacOS and continue.
    • #9: click on Continue.
    • #10: Then, agree to the terms and continue.
    • #11: After that, select Macintosh HD and install MacOS Mojave on Macintosh HD.

    So, you have installed MacOS Mojave on Macintosh HD successfully. now Boot MacOS Mojave to Macintosh HD.

    Step 7: Boot MacOS Mojave from Macintosh HD

    1. Press F12 for Boot menu and select your USB drive and press Enter.
    2. Then, select option and type -v nv_disabled=1_ for Boot Args and press enter key.
    3. This time boot MacOS install from Macintosh HD, therefore, select second Apple Logo and press Enter key.
    4. Wait for some minutes to install MacOS Mojave on Macintosh HD.
    5. Now your Computer will restart.
    6. Again press f12 for Boot menu and select your USB drive and press enter.
    7. Now, select option and type -v for boot args and press enter key.
    8. Then Boot MacOS from Macintosh HD and press enter key.

    Step 8: Install macOS Mojave on Hackintosh

    • Select your country and continue.
    • Select your keyboard layout and continue.
    • Then, select My computer is not connect to the internet and continue.
    • On data and privacy click continue.
    • Select don’t transfer any information and click continue.
    • Agree to the terms and condition.
    • Now create a new user for computer, therefore, give a Full name, Account name, password, and Password Hint. then click on Continue.
    • On express set up click on Continue.
    • Now select your theme whether light mode or dark mode and click on continue.
    • After that, it will be setting up your MacOS.

    Before going to the next step you have to prepare the below requirements.

    Step 1: Download MacOS Catalina dmg File

    You have two ways to download MacOS Catalina 10.15 DMG file.

    1. If you have developer account then you can download MacOS Catalina from App store.
    2. or download MacOS Catalina dmg file without developer account. Direct Link

    In case if you have developer account then for sure you can download MacOS Catalina public beta from the app store, if you don’t have developer account then you have to download MacOS Catalina dmg file from a direct link.

    However, if you want to download MacOS Catalina with your developer account from Apple store then go ahead and download it. Once you downloaded from app store then the file will be added directly to the App Utilities but those who are downloading the MacoOS Catalina from here then you have to copy and paste it inside the App Utilities or Launcher because it will be needed to create a bootable USB for MacOS Catalina 10.15.

    Step 2: Create a Bootable USB for MacOS Catalina 10.15

    #1: To create a bootable USB for MacOS Catalina you have to prepare at least 16 GB USB for MacOS Catalina dmg file.

    #2: After that, insert the USB to your computer and click on Go > Utilities. the other way, use Command key + space for the spotlight and search Disk Utility then press Enter key.

    #4: Now open the Spotlight and search Terminal, after that, copy the below code and paste it there and press Enter key, then you will be asked to provide your password, therefore, type your password and press Enter key. Once you press the enter key then it will ask you to Enter Y key for confirmation, so press Y key and wait for a few minutes.

    Step 3: Install Clover Configurator

    1. Download the Clover Configurator from the above link.
    2. Now select the Mount EFI option from the left side of the window.
    3. After that, Select the EFI on install MacOS Catalina 10.15 beta and click on Mount Partition.
    4. Enter your Password that you logged in.
    5. Click Done.

    6. Once you mounted EFI partition then an EFI folder will be generated automatically to your desktop.
    7. Now open EFI external folder.
    8. Copy the EFI file into the external folder.
    9. You have pasted the EFI file successfully, now Eject the external EFI folder. Therefore, right-click on the EFI folder and click on the Eject All.
    10. Glad to see you in this step, as you have done everything properly till here and you created the EFI file of MacOS Catalina in a USB drive. Now you are ready to install MacOS Catalina on PC-Hackintosh but before going to install Catalina you have to copy all fixes files and drivers to a separate USB drive.

    Step 4: Create a Post-Installation USB Drive

    as I mentioned above that you have to prepare 4GB of USB drive for post-installation files, therefore, insert the USB drive and click on Go and click on Utilities. After that, open Disk Utility folder.

    Now select the USB from the left side of the window that you inserted later and click on Erase option from the top-handed panel. After that, follow the below settings.

    1. Select a Name for USB.
    2. Then for Format select Mac OS Extended (Journaled).
    3. And select GUID Partition Map for Scheme.
    4. Now click on the Erase button.
    5. Wait for a minute and click on Done.
    6. At last, close the Disk utility folder.
    7. Once the partition is done, then copy and paste all the fixes drivers into the Post-Install USB drive and Eject the USB drive folder. to eject the driver right click on the USB drive and click on Eject all option.

    Here, I tell you that without changing the BIOS setting you will not be able to install MacOS Catalina on your PC, therefore you have to bring some changes to the BIOS setting. for that, restart your computer and press the BIOS setting key. remember, you have to find your computer BIOS key.

    #1: After that, go to Save and Edit menu tab then selects Load Optimized Defaults and press Enter, then you will be asked to select Yes button, therefore, select Yes and press enter.

    #2: Once again click Save and Edit setup on the same page and click Yes, after that your computer will restart automatically and once your computer restarted then press BIOS setting key.

    #3: Now click on the M.I.T menu tab and select the first option and press Enter key.

    #4: Once you press enter key then you will see the below screenshot, here select Extreme Memory Profile (X.M.P) and press enter key, then select Profile1 and press enter key.

    #5: Now go ahead and click on the Peripherals menu tab and select the USB Configuration and press Enter Key.

    #7: Go ahead and click on Chipset menu tab and Disabled VT-d option by press the enter key.

    #8: The BIOS Setting for MacOS Catalina has done successfully, now go to Save and Edit menu tab and select the first option and press enter key then Click on Yes button for confirmation.

    Step 6: Install MacOS Catalina on PC-Hackintosh

    As you have done the BIOS setting and now it is time to start the installation of MacOS Catalina on PC-Hackintosh, so, before going to install macOS Catalina insert the created bootable USB to your PC and restart your computer. Once your computer restarted then press the Boot menu key. Afterward, you will see the drives list that will appear and now select whether you want to boot MacOS Catalina from USB or CD/DVD., of course, you are going to boot MacOS Catalina from USB, therefore, select the USB drive and go ahead.

    #1: Once you selected the USB Bootable drive then you will be in Clover Bootloader window, therefore, select boot MacOS install from installing MacOS 10.15 Beta, So, press Enter to Boot.

    #7: Read the agreement and agree to the terms and conditions of MacOS Catalina and click on Continue.

    While your computer restarted then press and hold the Boot menu key and again Boot MacOS Catalina 10.15 Beta from a USB drive. Therefore, from the Boot loader menu will come, you have to boot MacOS install from Macintosh HD.

    #1: While you select the USB Drive then select Boot MacOS install from Macintosh HD and press Enter then wait for a few minutes to complete the boot installation. Once it is done then your computer will restart automatically.

    5. If you have Apple ID and want to sign in then provide your Apple ID detail if you don’t have Apple ID then click on Sign up later and click skip.
    6. Read the agreement and agree to the terms and condition.
    7. Now, create a computer account
      1. Give a full Name.
      2. Type your account Name.
      3. provide your password.
      4. and give a password hint
      5. Click Continue.
    8. In the next step, click Continue on Express Set up.
    9. Go ahead and continue.
    10. Click continue for the screen time.
    11. Here, you will have three looks mode, so, select one of them and continue.

    • #1: Now insert your Post-Install USB drive to your computer and open the drive, after that, copy the two folders and paste it on your desktop. once the folders have been copied then eject the Post-Install USB drive.
    • #2: Then open Post-Install folder that you copied on your desktop and run Clover configurator.
    • #3: After that, click on the Mount EFI from the left side of the window and Mount both EFI. Click on the first Mount EFI option and provide your password, then click on the second Mount EFI option and provide your password.

    • #4: Once you mounted both EFI then two folders will be created on your desktop screen by the name of EFI.
    • #5: So, open EFI partition of the system drive and delete the EFI file.
    • #6: After that, open the EFI partition of USB drive and copy the EFI file from a USB drive and paste it into EFI partition of the system drive.
    • #7: Finally, eject the EFI USB drive folder.
    • #8: Here, you have to open all the fixes drivers such as Audio, Ethernet, Graphics, and other drivers to start installing.
    • #9: Now, open Ethernet folder and open Kext utility then provide your password, afterward, it will take some time to complete the installation.
    • #10: Then, drag the Atheros file into Kext utility and enter your password.
    • #11: Drag the Audio fix, VoodooHDA file into Kext utility and enter your password.

    Now, all the drivers installed completely and you need to restart your computer. So, it means you have installed MacOS Catalina 10.15 on PC-Hackintosh successfully and you can run Catalina now and enjoy its features and functions.
