Step 7. Here, MacOS Catalina 10.15 has blocked the Vmware’s extension because it is downloaded from App Store, Therefore, click on the Open Security Preferences.
Step 8. While the Security and Privacy are opened then click on the lock icon at the bottom of the window and enter your login password.
Step 9. Here, you have to allow this extension by clicking on the Allow button, when the allow button is clicked then the preferences will tell you to restart because it requires a restart. Therefore, click Ok and come back to the installation window of the Vmware Tools Installer.
Step 10. Now all the files are copied and it will ask you to restart the operating system, therefore, click the Restart button. After the system is restarted then the blocked extension will appear, So, click on the Open Security Preferences and once again allow it.
Note: You have applied the above steps and if it didn’t work then reinstall the VMware tools, and restart the operating system, After restarting ignore the system extension blocked. then open the System Preferences by yourself and enable it.
